Katarina was born in Staaken on the 3rd of December 1965. In her search for new challenges she continually opens the doors to new opportunities for herself. She also accumulates knowledge with various areas of the fields of figure skating, production presentations, acting and writing. Katarina Witt ended her amateur career following the 1988 World Championships. The following 3 years she co-headlines along with Brian Boitano (World Champion, Calgary Olympic Champion) her first US and Canadian professional tours. The first time in ten year, the Madison Square Garden shows a figure-skating show with "Witt and Boitano skating". The event was so popular, it sold out Madison Square Garden for a complete performance. The 3rd Olympic Games appearance in Lillehammer took place in 1994. After traveling across the US for ten years as guest stars on "Stars on Ice" as well as participating in international professional events. She's been the driving force behind many Ice productions across the globe. She develops the shows as headlines and scripts and produces them with her company WITT. The company has established new standards in the production of shows that skate, including "Divas On Ice", "Katarina & Friends", and "Enjoy the Stars".
